Q + A

  • Please RSVP for you and your full party by May 1st, 2025. If there are any concerns, please reach out to one of us individually!

  • For the Thursday Sangeet, please wear Indian or American semi-formal attire and avoid reds, whites and blacks. We have listed some shops where you can buy Indian attire below. For the Saturday wedding, please wear cocktail attire and avoid wearing white.

  • While we'd love for everyone to attend both events, we completely understand that a multi-day wedding can be challenging for various reasons. If you and your party can only attend 1 event, that is more than okay! Please make sure to specify that in your RSVP.

  • You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “No” so that we can plan accordingly.

  • A Sangeet is a pre-wedding ceremony in Indian culture that celebrates the couple and their families with music, dance, and food. There will also be Mehndi services (henna) available for guests. We can’t wait to celebrate and share Sanjana’s Indian culture with everyone!

  • Some of our go-to shops for Indian attire include Kalki, Pernia's pop-up, Aza Fashions, Nordstrom, and Amazon.

Traditional attire for men: Kurta Pajamas, Sherwanis

Traditional attire for women: Lehengas, Sarees, Gowns, Salwar Kameez

Don’t hesitate to reach out to Sanjana, Nehal or Priyum with any specific Indian attire questions!

  • For Thursday, the Sangeet will be a blend of indoors and outdoors. For Saturday, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outdoors (weather permitting). Dancing will be held indoors.

  • We have chosen to make our special day an adults-only celebration, with the exception of close family members. You’ll find the details about your party in the RSVP form. Please do not bring additional guests not specified on the RSVP. We are truly grateful for your understanding!

  • To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue’s capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you! You’ll find the details about your party in the RSVP form. Please reach out to Sanjana or Evan if you have any concerns.

  • Friday is a free day! We wanted to give guests the opportunity to relax in between events and explore wine country. Some ideas of things to do include a pool day at the Hyatt, wine tasting, or exploring downtown Santa Rosa.

Fun fact: Charlie Brown & Charles Schultz, the cartoonist, are from Santa Rosa. There are many statues around town of the Peanut characters!

  • On the stay page, you can find several recommended hotels. The bride and groom will be staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and it would mean the world to us to have as many guests as possible join us at this same location. Outside of hotels, there are plenty of beautiful Airbnb and VRBO properties for larger parties to stay at and enjoy! Please note that shuttles to the venues on Thursday and Saturday will be departing from the Hyatt Regency hotel.

  • Yes! There will be shuttles provided from The Hyatt Regency Hotel to and from both venues on Thursday and Saturday. There is also parking available at both venues if you and your party choose to drive.

  • On the travel page, there are 3 recommended airports listed and their distances to Sonoma County. If you choose to fly into SFO or OAK, a car rental would be needed. If you fly into the Sonoma County airport, Ubers and Lyfts are easily available and a short 12 minute ride to Santa Rosa downtown.

  • If you choose to drive to the venues, parking is free and available.

  • Feel free to reach out to Sanjana or Evan and we’d be happy to help answer anything else!
